Stay 03:28
feeling kinda warm and dry in a pseudo-static place and my only comfort is in the uncontrolled displaced reeling misfortune at the hands, but you knew them well stay i wish i had something real in my existential doubts writhing in the leaking corpses and shedding essence out i say i'll change, but i never really change a thing stay (do you want to stay?)

can't see why anyone would want me i guess what i find desirable is just too avant-garde woe is me, kicking cans pretentiously out of a crack in the sky, you catch my lazy eye you're an underground babe slowly looking for a plan of attack when the hunter inside of me says: "oh, for sure! it's all for sure!" this attention is getting my head.... workers laying the atlantic line never encountered forces so bold daddy said to eat her like a firework

make up things to complain about subject of my fascination making out i'd be lying if i said it was true so romanticized, my loving you sleeping like a vampire hanging from the ceiling people living in the walls now can't you hear the breathing? i get scared when i feel confused so romanticized, but so amused by thoughts that came twirling from space i'd like to at least make a change sleeping like a vampire hanging from the ceiling people living in the walls now can't you hear the breathing? you

intersecting lines happens all the time fashion it a prize, committing a crime? well, who is wrong when neither's right? we hold our shame like torches' light they hunt the young ones in the night i can pretend the stars don't fade by you but you know that i'm laissez-faire and we're controlled by laissez-faire some people have shame, and that's good (?) but other people have more confidence than they should they make their neanderthalic advanced without a second thought the good boys keep their hands on lock

about

this was recorded over a winter, spring and summer. pored over and redone and mixed and mixed and mixed again. a monument to our friendship. our attempt at legitimizing this little project we have. lyrically, a dissection of the death rattle of the rust belt. and high school troubles. sonically, a pastiche of bands we love: lcd soundsystem, interpol, iceage, radiohead, etc etc.

we think you'll love it.
